Aether is Regenerating Liveability with Renting People. ​ We are living in a modern day housing crisis. Many people, couples, families, find they currently must rent due to financial matters. Needing to be near a new or temporary post, family or a recent change in their household circumstances. They will not comply with assisted or subsidised rental homes prerequisites,  as they earn too much. Thus they can only become a victim of an oversubscribed and generally poor quality rented built environment. ​ At Aether, we believe Renting People pay more, so they should receive more. This is why we design and make our buildings, we would not entrust it to anyone else. We will also own and operate them long into the future, we will not sell them for at least 15 years , if at all. ​ Architecture is too good a luxury just to be for the rich, and a better built environment benefits all of society. People can be nearer there place of work, have less travel expenses, live in a modern energy efficient building, can enjoy more time living well, where ewe live becomes more vibrant and better resourced. Aether  keeps its profits in it buildings, using them to invest in better design and energy efficient construction for the long term, as well as assisting with our aim for our rent to be at least 10% cheaper than the local rental market. ​ Why would anyone not want to be Renting People. ​ ​
